Other Design Features

            The Designer also offers a number of other design features !

            First, you can work with groups of controls at one time. To do this, hold the CTRL key down and then select all the controls in a group you want. Now you can act upon this group in a number of ways.

            First, there are a number of options on the Group menu, such as control alignment and centering.

            Next, you can then right click any control in the group to display the right click popup menu, which is shown here:

            You can copy, delete and move controls as a group.

            If you double click any of the select controls in the group (they all must be the same type of control for this), the multiple controls property dialog will appear, so you can select properties for an entire group of controls. You will notice that some of the properties may not be available since it would not make sense to change such a property for multiple controls at one time. Here is that dialog:

            You can also right click on a single control (no CTRL key down) to select it and then display a slightly different popup menu as seen here:

            You can access other features here, such as modifying the Tab order of all the visible controls, move controls to another layer, lock and unlock controls (either the one selected or all of them at one time).
