EZGUI will not support older, legacy operating systems.
The question though is what will be the minimum OS required ?

I should note that in the end I chose to let EZGUI 5.0 continue to support legacy Windows operating systems so you can still write apps for Windows 95/98.

It also works quite well with Wine on Linux. Some customers do a lot with EZGUI on Wine.

EZGUI uses dynamic loading of some operating system DLL's so this allows EZGUI 5.0 to support many features of more current versions of Windows while still being able to work on Windows 95.

The current version of Wine (1.3.28) will handle programs from Windows 2 to Windows 7, so there shouldn't be many problems for EZGUI-based programs.

So far, everything we've tried works well, and looks just like a native Linux app.
