Does anyone still use OS/2 ?

I have been interested in learning more about the current state of OS/2 .

EComStation is the new name for OS/2 and it appears to have some following with long time OS/2 users.

This article is not so much about OS/2, but more of a request by me for more info about OS/2 and how it is used today. If you use OS/2 (EComStation) feel free to contact me at:

The reason I am interested in OS/2 is to learn more about how much it supports WIN32 applications. I noticed there is WINE (Linux) like layer, which supposedly supports some subset of the Windows API, but I am interested to kknow how good is it. Is it as good as WINE on Linux ?

A few of my customers currently use my EZGUI GUI engine on WINE (Linux), so I would be interested to find out how well it would work on OS/2 or EComStation. EZGUI uses the more common API’s of the WIN32, so it tends to be more compatible with the likes of WINE than other software.
